This journal is sized 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches and is 1/4-1/2 inches thick. It is loaded with different types of paper including 114 lb mixed media paper, 62 lb drawing paper and 24 lb printer paper. A total of 32 pages or 64 sides.

This hand bound journal is decorated with book jewelry made from beads, handmade paper beads and a leaf charm. Also embellishing the book is sari ribbon and specialty paperclips!

The cover is my own original art. A hand carved stamp of rocks is embossed with glaze and glitter to make the altar—an altar to remember God and what He’s done. The butterfly on top is wash-tape and reminds me of the freedom He gives us.

Inside the journal there are a couple stickers hand made from a print from my original art done in alcohol ink, and then embellished for fun and texture. There is a pocket inside the pages of the journal that has a hand-made tag with another altar of rocks.

The inside cover has a pocket with 5 sheets of painted papers to write on. The back cover has some printed gelli-printed mini papers too, to write verses or declarations on. Some of the Gelli-printed printed papers throughout the journal have stencils and the stencils are made by Stencil Girl.
